Ziyi Zhang

Ziyi Zhang is a Chinese soprano who brings flourishing emotion and passion to every performance. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Georgia, where she studies with Dr. Elizabeth Knight. She holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with Professor Mark Schnaible, and a Bachelor of Music degree from the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing.

She has performed internationally, including in China, the United States, Italy, and Israel, and has been an active participant in national and international vocal competitions. Her operatic repertoire includes Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Laura (Der Ring des Polykrates), Arminda (La finta giardiniera), Aunt Norris (Mansfield Park), Danica (Svadba), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Elettra (Idomeneo), Anna (Anna Bolena), and the Third Fairy (Cendrillon).

She will perform the Countess in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.
