
Natalia Locilento is an Italian soprano based in the United States, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at Oberlin Conservatory. Recent operatic pursuits include Jeannette in Joseph Bologne’s L’amant anonyme for the Oberlin Opera Theater and her upcoming portrayal of Susanna (and Barbarina cover) in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro for the Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival.
In 2025, she appeared in multiple opera scenes, including Adele from Strauss’ Die Fledermaus and Barbarina from Le Nozze di Figaro for the Oberlin Conservatory Opera Scenes Program, as well as Poppea from Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea for Bel Canto in Tuscany and appeared in Rhiannon Giddens’ Omar with Oberlin Conservatory.
Recently Natalia expanded her artistic practice into stage direction, joining the Oberlin Opera Theater productions of John Musto’s Later the Same Evening and Bastianello as Assistant Director for Scott Skiba. Natalia received the First Place Prize in the 2023 NATS Massachusetts and Rhode Island Competition. She continues to refine her musicianship through studying with Mathilda Edge, Caroline Smith, and Ellen Allen.
