Maya Rose Brown

Maya Rose Brown is a second-year soprano pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Arts Administration at Oberlin Conservatory studying under Dr. Katherine Jolly. Most recently, Maya made her principal role debut as Eustacia in Oberlin Conservatory’s production of Bastianello. Additionally, in 2024 Maya made her professional debut as the Shepherd in Palm Beach Opera’s Tosca. Her other operatic credits include First Knabe in Chicago Summer Opera’s Die Zauberflöte, Lucy in The Telephone, Laeticia in Old Maid and The Thief, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Euridice in Orpheè et Euridice, and La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, and The Lamplighter in The Little Prince all with North Broward Preparatory School. She will be joining the Mediterranean Opera Festival this summer playing the role of Barbarina in Le Nozze Di Figaro and covering the role of Norina in Don Pasquale.
