
Matthew Jordan is an American tenor currently pursuing a Bachelors in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studies with Dr. Julia Rottmayer. When not performing as a singer, Matthew works as a collaborative pianist and percussionist. He enjoys performing a variety of styles including Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Gospel. In recent years at UW-Madison Opera, Matthew has performed the roles of Don Curzio (Le Nozze di Figaro), Priest (Songbird) and scenes as Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Anthony (Sweeney Todd), Norfolk (Elisabetta, regina d’inghliterra).
