The Chinese tenor Hart Chen is a student studying Vocal Performance at Cal State Fullerton, under the tutelage of Dr. Kerry Jennings. He was a semi-finalist of the CS Music Vocal Competition: University Classical division, and won the third prize of the CSUF Music Association Competition.

In the 2024/2025 season, he played Tamino in Die Zauberflöte at Cal State Fullerton and Fenton in Falstaff at the International Lyric Academy.

In the 2023/2024 season, his engagements include singing Nerone in L’incoronazione di Poppea at Cal State Fullerton and singing Tenor Puppet in Fête galante at Lyric Opera of Orange County. He was also a chorus member in Madama Butterfly at Pacific Opera Project.

In the 2022/2023 season, he sang Daniel Buchanan in Street Scene at Cal State Fullerton. He has also participated in L’Opera Petit: Mostly Mozart with Lyric Opera of Orange County.
