Charlotte Jakobs is a 22-year-old Belgian soprano currently pursuing her Master’s degree at
the Manhattan School of Music, where she studies with Mark Schnaible. In April, she will
perform Lucinda in Dark Sisters. This summer, she looks forward to performing the role of
Norina in Don Pasquale as well as the Page (Paggio) in Rigoletto.
At the Manhattan School of Music, Charlotte has performed the roles of Donna and Siren in
Rinaldo, Maguelonne de Pictordu in Cendrillon, and Valetto and Primo Soldato in
L’incoronazione di Poppea.
In previous summers, she participated in Classic Lyric Arts France and the Chautauqua
Opera Conservatory, where she performed Prima Conversa in Suor Angelica and covered
the role of Morgana in Alcina
