Bridget Power

Bridget Power is a 22-year-old Australian soprano who has recently completed her Bachelor of Music Performance in Classical Voice (Honours) at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Dr Rowena Cowley. As of 2026 Bridget will commence her Master of Music Studies in Opera Performance at Sydney Conservatorium. During her studies she has been the recipient of the Greenburg-Gurnsey Jensen Fund 2, David and Nhilla Dumbrell Scholarship, Nita Mcrae Award, Finalist in the Demant Dreikurs Scholarship Song Competition, and winner of the Palladian Arts Vocal Competition.  

Throughout her undergraduate degree Bridget has been part of many performances and operatic works including; the role of Gorngany in Cheetham Fraillon’s ‘Parrwang Lifts The Sky’, Friend in O’Donoghue’s ‘Menarche’, Chorus in Lampe’s ‘The Dragon of Wantley’. She is a soprano chorister and Choral Scholar with The St Paul’s College Choir, and has sung in Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Haydn’s The Creation, Whitacre’s The Sacred Veil, and Vine’s Choral Symphony No.6. Complementary to her love of music and stage, Bridget is passionate about academic research and recently wrote her Honours thesis on Mozart’s operatic women.
