
Alexander Kondratov is an American tenor currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music from
Northwestern University, where he studies under the tutelage of Norman Reinhardt.
At Northwestern, Alex has performed the roles of Signor Bruschino(Il Signor Bruschino), Enrico
(L’isola disabitata), Second Soldier (L’incoronazione di Poppea), and Pluton(Orphée aux
Enfers), as well as covering Frederic(Pirates of Penzance), and St. Brioche(The Merry Widow).
Upcoming engagements include the Hussar/Mavra(Mavra), Gobin (La Rondine) and covering
Le Dancaïre(Carmen).
Engagements outside of NU include Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Rinuccio(Gianni Schicchi) and
covering the Duke(Rigoletto) and Masetto(Don Giovanni).
Alex is looking forward to performing the Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto) and Basilio (Le nozze di
Figaro) this summer
